Wayne Snaza, 63, of Webster died Mon., Oct. 26 at his residence.

Wayne Anthony Snaza was born on August 14, 1957 to Anthony and Bernice (Kurkowski) Snaza. Wayne attended St Joseph's Catholic School until it was closed; from there he attended Roslyn School, graduating in 1976.  Following graduation, he enrolled at Lake Area Technical College where he received his degree in Diesel Mechanics.  He returned home to Webster to farm with his dad while also working at Holmquist Repair.

In the summer of 1979, Wayne met Jackie Grajczyk, the love of his life while she was visiting from Texas for the summer.  He patiently waited for her to return from Texas after her graduation and they married on August 22, 1981 at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Grenville, SD.  They moved on the family farm with his parents to help work the farm. In 1983 they bought their own farm west of the family farm where he continued to farm with his Dad and his brother Dennis, until Dennis' early passing. Wayne and his dad continued to farm for six more years until his dad passed.  Following his father's passing, Jackie and Wayne's youngest son moved back to the home place to farm with him.  Into this union they were blessed with three sons, Duane, Wesley and Nicholas

Wayne was a member of St Joseph Catholic Church, where he received his First Communion and was Confirmed.  Wayne and Jackie joined Christ the King Church when the children began attending Webster school.  He was a member of the Catholic Order of Foresters.

Wayne loved farming, but the greatest joy of his life was his family; especially his grandchildren. He found much entertainment in razing and playing a good practical joke on those he cared about. You knew he liked you if he teased you. He enjoyed a good afternoon of cards and didn't mind going to the casino now and again with one of his best friends Don.  Wayne also became a regular for lunch at Pizza Hut where there were many friends that he shared meals with.  His REA Corn seed business and farm auctions where also something he enjoyed greatly.

Wayne passed away after his battle with cancer on Tuesday, October 26, 2020, at his home in Webster, at the age of 63 years, 2 months, and 12 days.

Grateful to have shared his remarkable life is his wife of 39 years Jackie and his sons; Wesley (Yuan) of Sammamish, WA, Nick (Jessica) of Webster, SD and his 5 grandchildren Emma, Nathan (Wesley & Yuan)Mallory, Owen, Carter (Nick & Jessica). As well as his Mother-in-law and numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, all will miss him greatly.

He was preceded in death by his son Duane, father and mother, Tony and Bernice, and his brother Dennis.
