Virginia Palmgren, 66, of Webster, SD died Wednesday, June 03, 2009 at Sanford Hospital, Webster.
Memorial Services will be held on Wednesday, June 10, 2009 at First Baptist Church, Webster with Rev. Steve Hargis officiating.
Virginia Wilson was born May 25, 1943 in Waukegan, IL. to Harry & Isabelle Wilson. She grew up in Libertyville, Il graduating from high school there in 1953. She worked at the Great Lakes Navel Training Center as a paymaster.
She married Peter Palmgren on November 9, 1963 in Waukegan. The moved to Charleston, SC where she worked in payroll at the Navy Station and then to St. Cloud, MN where she was a payroll clerk. They moved to Chicago and Marion, IL and then to Fort Meade in the Black Hills. They moved to Webster in 2002.
She enjoyed sewing, social gatherings with friends and raising dogs.
Grateful for having shared her life is her husband Peter of Webster, SD, three children; Peter Edward, Karin and Richard and five grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Wilson and one sister Louise Carpenter.
