Terry Grimes, 61, of Webster died Mon., Feb. 17 at his residence.

A Memorial Services will be held in June.

Terry was born on September 19, 1958 at Peabody Hospital, Webster, SD to Irwin "Roy" Grimes and Marlene Herr Grimes.  He attended grade school in Lily till the 3 ^th grade, he later went to school at Bristol High School.  Terry enlisted in the U.S Army.  Terry was stationed in Ft. Ord, California in 1977 he was Honorably Discharged.

Terry moved back to the Lily area where he worked for Dakotah (Creative Home Furnishings), Powder Tech, and most recently Foothills Construction until ill health forced him to retire.

Terry enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, watching westerns and old war movies. Terry (also known as Longhorn) was involved in various historic rendezvous, re-enactments and black powder shoots. Terry loved to visit with anyone he would meet and no one was a stranger after meeting Terry.

Grateful for having shared his life are is 2 brothers: Austin (Marion) of Webster, Randy (Dawna) Watertown,  3 sisters; Carla (Lonnie) Gross Gillette, WY, Lori (Scott) Cunningham, Aberdeen, Lisa (Leonard) Vandermate Rapid City, SD, and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one sister Marla Williamson, one brother; Irlyn "Roy".
