Sharon R. (Aadland) Loe, 75, Webster, passed away surrounded by her family on June 6, 2015
Funeral service will be 2:00 pm Friday, June 12 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Webster.
Burial will be held at Skudesnes Lutheran Cemetery, rural Pierpont.
Visitation will be held from 5-7 Thursday, June 11 with a Prayer Service at 7 at Coester Funeral Home, Webster.
She was born August 18, 1939 in Britton, SD to Roy and Norma (Berget) Aadland. She was baptized and confirmed at Skudesnes Lutheran Church, in rural Pierpont, SD. She attended country school north of their farm through 8th grade and graduated from Pierpont, SD in 1957. She attended two years at Northern State College in Aberdeen, SD.
She was united in marriage to Allen December 22, 1960 in Pierpont, SD. Sharon worked for the Webster School District until 1985. Although she was done with a full time position at the school, Sharon's love for helping children lead her to substitute teach at Webster, Waubay and Enemy Swim until 2010.
In addition to working at the school, in 1983 Sharon joined House of Lloyd /Christmas Around the World, where she was a regional manager. Through her hard work with the company she earned many awards and trips. Some of her most memorable trips were to Hawaii, Egypt, Alaska, Greece, Brazil and Israel. She made many good friends and memories throughout her time with House of Lloyd.
She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Webster, where she also was on the church council, taught Sunday school and played piano for the children's choir.
She loved to play the piano and spend time with her children and grandchildren. She followed her grandchildren regularly to their events and was their biggest fan and supported them always.
Being thankful for sharing her life is her husband, Allen, Webster; son, Mark (Debbie) Loe, Baltic; daughter, Michelle (Mike) Gaikowski, Webster. She has 5 grandchildren, Matt (Jessy), Morgan & Mitch Gaikowski & Nicole and Kayla Loe. She has two great-grandchildren, Ryder & Sylas Gaikowski.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
