Ronald Kotzea, 64, of Madison, SD died Mon., May 9 at Sanford USD Medical Center, Sioux Falls.

Ronald was born on September 11, 1957 to Gene & Jacquline (Dokter) Kotzea in Webster, SD.  Ron attended school in Waubay.  Ron entered the Redfield State Hospital when he was 13.  He was in Redfield for over 11 years.  At age 24 he entered ECCO in 1982.  Ron did Janitorial work while at ECCO until 1998.  Ron then began working on the production line in the ECCO workshop.

Ron enjoyed spending time with friends. Watching TV, drinking chocolate milk, and eating his two favorite foods; bananas and ice cream.

Grateful for having shared his life is 4 brothers; Donald & Darrel both of Aberdeen, David of Watertown, and Joe of Flordia.

Ron was preceded in death by his parents and one sister.
