Roman Michael Czmowski, age 94, of Webster, died Tuesday afternoon at Sanford Hospital in Webster.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday July 25, 2009 at Christ The King Catholic Church with Father David Axtmann officiating. Burial will be in the St. Otto's Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Friday with a prayer service at 7:00 PM at Christ The King Catholic Church in Webster.
Roman was born in Webster on January 23, 1915 to Joseph and Martha (Thomas) Czmowski. He attended school through the 8th grade and then farmed along with his father. For most of his life, Roman was a mechanic and worked at the Chevrolet Garage in Webster and was a custodian at Pleasant View Apartments until his retirement.
Roman was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, dancing, bowling and riding snowmobile.
Roman is survived by his brothers; Isidore "Sonny" Czmowski of Webster and Sylvester Czmowski of Longview, WA, along with many nieces and nephews. Roman is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and four sisters.
