Marjorie M. Warrington, 97, of Bristol died Tues., March 20, 2018 at Sun Dial Manor, Bristol.

Marjorie was born on January 5, 1921 in Bristol, SD to Joseph & Emma (Nolte) Grode.  She attended Bristol High School graduating in 1939.  She then attended Northern State Teachers College in Aberdeen for one year.  She then taught for one year in a rural school West of Bristol.

She was united in marriage in St. Anthony's Catholic Church to Vern Warrington on June 5, 1941.  They made their home South of Bristol where they farmed until retiring.

Marjorie enjoyed gardening, flowers, and playing cards.

Marjorie was a member of St. Anthony's Catholic Church and was once a board member of Sun Dial Manor.

Grateful for having shared her life are two sons; Roger (Bonnie) of Webster, Butch (Donnetta) of Hartford, SD, two daughters; Dianne (Larry) Schmidt, of Sioux Falls and Kathleen (Lauren) Johnson of Bristol, 17 grandchildren, several great and great great grandchildren, and two brothers; Donald Grode of Bristol, and Robert (Marian) Grode of Bristol, and one sister in law Betty Gollnick of Webster.

Her parents, husband Vern, one son Ronald, one daughter Carol Siemonsma, and one brother Richard preceded her in death.

Arrangements have been entrusted with Coester Funeral Home, Webster.
