Marjorie Mattecheck, 99, of Bristol died Wednesday, February 11, 2015 at Sun Dial Manor, Bristol.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 Monday, February 16, at Christ the King Catholic Church, Webster. Burial will be in St. Otto's Catholic Cemetery, Webster.
Visitation will be from 5-7 Sunday, Feb. 15, at Christ the King Catholic Church, with a Prayer Service at 7. Visitation will resume again one hour prior to the service at the church.
Marjorie was born on December 28, 1915 in rural Webster to Joseph and Theresa (Winkler) Mattecheck.
She attended rural country school, St. Otto's Catholic School and high school in Webster. She lived all her life in South Dakota.
She was employed by Farmers Hatchery. For 25 years she worked in the dietary department of Bethesda Home.
In her retirement years she lived in Webster, and the last few years she was a resident of Sun Dial Manor in Bristol.
Grateful for having shared her life is one nephew; Joseph Mattecheck and wife Lois, three grand nephews; Scott (Pam) and their children; Isabelle, Joseph, and Anders, Keith (Alyssa) and their children; Aiden & Emerick, and Mark Mattecheck.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother; Emerick, one sister; Irene and two infant sisters, one brother in law George, and one sister in law Beulah & her husband Clayton.
