Lucille Lewandowski's Obituary
Lucille Lewandowski, 88, of Waubay died Wednesady, Sept. 18, 2013 at Strand-Kjorsvig Home, Roslyn.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 23, 2013 at 11:00 at Coester Funeral Home, Webster. Burial will be in Waubay Catholic Cemetery, Waubay.
Friends may visit from 5-7 Sunday, Sept. 22 at Coester Funeral Home, Webster with a prayer service at 7. Visitation will resume one hour prior to the services at Coester Funeral Home.
Lucille was born on November 29, 1924 in Wheaton, MN to Walter and Verna (Campbell) Barry. She attended country school in the Peever area. Following school she worked as a house keeper for local people.
In 1943 she married Leon Lewandowski. Together they ranched in the Waubay area.
Lucille enjoyed gardening, raising flowers and sewing.
Grateful for having shared her life is one son Virgil (Linda) Lewandowski of Waubay, SD, 4 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren.
Precededing her in death is her parents, husband, 3 sisters, and 2 brothers.
