LaVonne Stanley, 67, of Minneapolis, Mn. died Friday, April 23, 2010 at Methodist Hospital, St. Louis Park, Mn.

Funeral services will be 10:30 Monday, April 26 at Coester Funeral Home, Webster. Burial will be in the Webster Cemetery.

Visitation will be one hour prior to the services on Monday at the funeral home.

LaVonne was born on April 13, 1943 to Allen & Alta (Smith) Sauer in Webster, SD. She attended Webster Public School in Webster, SD. She married David Hurne in Webster, SD and to this marriage a son David was born.

In the early 1960's she worked at Nash's Station and Café in Webster. She later moved to Hopkins, MN in the late 60's.

On February 23, 1971 she married James Stanley in Webster, SD to this marriage a son James was born. They returned to Hopkins, MN where they lived until her passing.

LaVonne loved to visit friends and relatives, she loved gardening, and she liked spending time with her grandchildren.

LaVonne was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary in Hopkins.

Grateful for having shared her life is her husband; James of Hopkins, MN, two sons; David (Keri) Hurne of Littleton, CO, James (Kelly) Stanley of Mayer, MN, 7 grandchildren, one brother; LaDean Sauer of Bristol, SD, one sister-in-law; Kathy Stanley of Webster, SD, and one brother-in-law; Donald Johnson of Webster, SD.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one sister.
