Judy Herrick died Sunday, Dec. 14 at her residence.
Visitation will be from 1-3 Sat, Dec. 20 at Coester Funeral Home, Webster with a Memorial service at 3.
Judith Herrick passed away at her home in Webster, SD, on December 14th, 2014 while surrounded by family.
Judy was born June 2, 1956 in Minneapolis, MN. She was a 1974 graduate of Fridley High School. After high school, she attended Anoka Tech in Anoka, MN and went on to work numerous jobs in the Twin Cities.
In 1980, she married Henry P. Herrick, Jr (Sonny). They lived in St. Louis Park, MN and later Rockford, MN before moving to Webster in 1986. Judy was a stay at home Mom with her two children until they started school and then resumed her working career.
Judy enjoyed reading, music, baking, and canning. She enjoyed spending time with family. She favored the summers over the winters, enjoying time at the lake, fishing and bonfires. Judy loved to laugh and joke, and was not afraid to be herself. She had heart of gold and loved animals.
Judy demonstrated great strength, bravery and courage since being diagnosed with cancer in September. When treatment failed, she chose to spend the rest of her days enjoying time with family and friends.
Besides her husband of 34 years, she is survived by her son, Henry Patrick Herrick III of Watertown, SD and her daughter and son-in-law, Stacy and Nathan Sollin, Brooklyn Park, MN. She also leaves her parents, Rob and Evie Stuart, Mt. Dora, FL, and her sisters Janet Vanselus Altoona, FL, Jacki (Bob) Kurshoff, Lakeville, MN, and brother Bill (Peggy) Stuart, St. Paul, MN.
She is proceed in death by her mother Mildred Stuart and sister Carol Stuart.
