Janice Koppe, 69, of Webster died Sunday, October 2, at Sun Dial Manor, Bristol.
Janice was born on October 1, 1947 to Herbert and Rose Reiprich. She lived most of her life in Day County, attending country school through the 5th grade when the school closed. She then attended school in Webster graduating in 1966. She then attended Watertown Business University & took a 6 month business course.
Janice married Pete Lesnar in the fall of 1966. They lived in Mobridge for a short period of time before moving to Bristol.
Janice worked at Sun Dial Manor for a period of time, than Dakotah for 151/2 years until it closed. Janice took a few months off before going to work at Bethesda Home, Webster.
She then married John Koppe on December 26, 2001 in Webster.
Janice was a member of Christ the King, Catholic Daughters, Altar Society, and the American Legion Auxiliary.
Janice enjoyed baking, cooking, crafts, playing cards, gardening, going out for supper.
Grateful for having shared her life is two daughters; Shawn Lesnar of Webster, Denise (Steve) Speck of Aberdeen, one son; John (Dawn) Lesnar of Mansfield 2grandchildren, one great grandchild, 4 Step Grandchildren, 3 brothers; Dennis, Freddie (Kathy), & Loren (Debbie) Reiprich all of Webster. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband John, and one granddaughter.
