Geraldine Walker, 73, of Webster, SD died Saturday, August 18, 2012 at Spearfish Regional Hospital, Spearfish, SD.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, Aug. 26 at Enemy Swim Community Culture Center, Enemy Swim. Burial will be in the Walker Family Cemetery, rural Ortley.

Visitation will be from 5-7 Sat, Aug. 25 at Enemy Swim Community Culture Center, Enemy Swim with a Wake Service at 7.

Geraldine was born on August 26, 1938 at the Prairie Island Indian Community, in MN. She attended Red Wing, MN Public School graduating in 1956. Following school she lived in the Minneapolis area where she worked for Honeywell for many years. She moved to Waubay in 1975 She then moved to Melbourne Beach, FL for 9 years. She has made her home in Webster for the past 5 years.

Throughout her life Geraldine was a great warrior for the Lord ministering on various reservations and reserves in the US and Canada.

Geraldine enjoyed traveling, fishing, camping and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and friends.

Grateful for having shared her life is her three daughters; Pamela McDaniel (Robert "Grover" Cleveland) of Webster, SD, Cynthia (Orville) LaBatte Ortley, SD, Tracy Walker of FL one son; Mark (Keri) Hayes of Rogers, AR, 8 grandchildren, 8 grand- children; and two brothers; Fred (Kay) Urich of Prairie Island, MN, Floyd (Mary) Wells of Prairie Island, MN and one sister; Doreen Hagen of Prairie Island, MN.

She was preceded in death by her parents Mason H. Walker & Elizabeth C. Walker, four sisters; Yvonne Baker, Evangeline Buster, Betty Russell, Edith Pacini, one son; Timothy Glick.
