Elizabeth A. Jenness, 67, of Liberty, MO and formerly of Butler, SD died Tuesday, July 20, 2010 at Dougherty Hospice Home, Sioux Falls, SD.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 Friday, July 23, 2010 at St. Anthony's Catholic Church, Bristol. Burial will be in the Bristol Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5-7 on Thursday with a Service of Remembrance at 7:00 all at the church. Visitation will resume again one hour prior to the services at the church.

Elizabeth was born on December 3, 1942 in Webster, SD to Elmer and Ellen (Coyne) Warrington. She attended Troy Township Country School and later graduated from Bristol High School. She then attended Northern Teachers College in Aberdeen for business. She worked in Washington DC, Oregon, and Missouri.

On October 24, 1966 she married Gene Jenness in St. Louise Church in Bellevue, WA. They then moved to Liberty, MO where she worked as an Accountant until retiring in 2008. Elizabeth is a two-year survivor of breast cancer.

Elizabeth enjoyed woodworking, photography, traveling, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Grateful for having shared her life was two sons; Paul (Jennifer) Jenness of Liberty, MO, Brian (Shannon) Jenness of Parker, CO, 5 grandchildren, Three sisters; Marie (Dennis) Maag of Bradley, SD, Louise (Don) Dubbelde of Larchwood, IA, Dorothy (Bob) Jennings, of Rapid City, SD, one brother Leo (Diane) Warrington, Groton, SD

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Gene.
