David York, 66, of Webster died Sat., Dec. 16 at Sanford Hospital, Webster.

David was born on March 17, 1951 in Watertown, SD to George and Darlene (Miner) York.  David attended school and graduated from Eureka, CA Public School.  He later attended Healds Engineering College in San Francisco, CA.  Following school he worked several jobs in CA.  Do to ill health forced David into early retirement and moved to Webster, SD with family.

David was a member of the Herbert-Mckennett American Legion Post #40, Webster.

David enjoyed working, crafting, designing; he was currently designing a gazebo for his mother's back yard, and poetry.

Grateful for having shared his life is his Mother, Darlene Myer of Webster, SD, one daughter, Briana York of Eureka, CA, and two grandchildren, one brother; Gary York of Fortuna, CA, and one sister;  Lynda (Donald) Cox of Webster, SD

David is preceded in death by father George.

Coester Funeral Home, Webster is entrusted with the arrangements.
