Charles Robinson, 78, of Roslyn died Tuesday, July 15, 2014 at Sanford Hospital, Webster.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:00 Saturday, July 19 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Grenville. Burial will be in the church cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5-7 Friday, July 18 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Grenville with a wake service at 7 at the church. Visitation will resume again one hour prior to the services at the church.

Charles was born on July 13, 1936 to Lennie & Margaret (Miotke) Robinson. He was bapitized in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Grenville. He attended school in Grenville and Sunny Side 200 Country School until the 8th grade.

After which he went to work on the family farm. He married Carol Spiering on June 22, 1963 at the St. Otto's Catholic Church, Webster. They made their home on the family farm in Kosciusko township. In 2012 Charles moved to the Stand-Kjorsvig Home, Roslyn.

Charles enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his grandchildren and great grandchildren..

Charles was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church and Catholic Order of Forresters.

Grateful for having shared his life is wife of 50 years Carol of Roslyn, SD, two sons; Mike of Venus, TX, Mark of Pipestone, MN, one daughter; Michelle (Scott) Olafson of Roseau, MN. 6 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and 3 brothers.
