Carol Robinson, 76, of Roslyn passed away Sat., Dec. 19, 2020 at Stand - Kjorsvig Nursing Home, Roslyn.

Carol was born on February 19, 1944 in Webster to Elvy & Laura (Geise) Spiering. She attended school in a one room schoolhouse through the 8 th grade. She graduated from Roslyn High School in 1962.
Carol married Charles Robinson on June 22, 1963 in Grenville. They then settled on the family farm by Pickerel Lake. Carol worked very hard on the farm. Her favorite part was raking hay with the old dump rake. She also worked at Strand Kjorsvig Nursing Home in Roslyn. She worked there for over 40 years. She then moved to Roslyn to be closer to her job. She continued working there until retiring.
Carol enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. She loved fishing on Pickerel Lake in the early days. She loved crocheting, she even taught her daughter how. Carol loved taking care of her flowers. Her favorite flower was Peonies.
One of the most important parts of her life was her faith. She was very devoted Catholic. She was a member of the Grenville Parish. Carol was a member of the Women's Altar Society. Carol became a member of Christ the King when she moved to Roslyn.
Grateful for having shared her life is her sons; Mike (Lori) of Venus, TX, Mark of Pipestone, MN, one daughter; Shelly (Scott) Olafson of Roseau, MN, 7 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren, two brother; Felix (Janelle) Spiering of Webster, SD, Ray (Bernice) Spiering of Aberdeen, SD and her beloved dog Molly of Roseau, MN. Many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles, four brothers, and one sister.
