Brent Saylor, 63, of Sioux Falls formerly of Lily died Saturday, September 24 at his residence.

Brent's family asks all family and friends who plan on attending his funeral to be dressed in their favorite sports team clothing.

Brent was born on January 2, 1953 in Webster, SD to B.L. & Constance (Barber) Saylor. He attended Lily grade school and graduated from Webster High School. Following school he attended Lake Area Vo-Tech for aviation maintenance. He then went to work for the Burlington Northern Railroad until his retirement.

Brent enlisted in the National Guard where he served his country for 15 years.

Brent was a member of Reach Church of Sioux Falls, Jaycees and Engebretson-Lien American Legion Post #156. For the last several years he was a devoted volunteer at the VA Hospital.

Brent enjoyed woodworking and loved to refinish and make many different items. He was also an avid Sioux Falls sports fan, holding season tickets for most events.

Grateful for having shared his life are his children David & Scott Saylor both of Sioux Falls, two brothers; Charles Saylor of FL, Craig (Ronna) Saylor of Blair, NE, and one sister Charla (Jay) Imrie of Aberdeen.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
