Blanche Delores Weyh was born on Jan. 27, 1939 on the family farm North of Waubay to Frank and Leona (Lauseng) Weyh.  Blanche attended Country School #206.  She then went to Waubay High School graduating in 1957.  After high school she attended Northern State College in Aberdeen.

Blanche went onto work in Minnesota before settling down in Milbank, where she worked at Milbank Mutual Insurance Company for 39 years.  Blanche retired in 1995 due to health reasons.

Blanche was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church and she also served on the Waubay City Council.

Blanche loved spending time at her lake home on Blue Dog Lake, she spent many Friday nights playing Bingo at the Legion in Waubay, any time there was a card game Blanche was always there.  Blanche enjoyed spending her time with family and friends.

Grateful for having shared her life is one brother; James (Carol) Weyh Sr. of Watertown, 4 sisters; Ramona Mikkelson of Waubay, Dorothy Dargatz of Watertown, Sylvia (Dick) Dargartz of Waubay, and Patty (Royce) Birney of Waubay, and one sister in law Carol Weyh of Webster.

She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother Frank Weyh Jr.

Pallbearers will be Dennis Weyh, Mark Birney, Alan Birney, Jerry Weyh, James Weyh Jr, Greg Dargatz, Brian Dargatz, Jeff Dargatz, & Mike Dargatz.
