Beth
Schlotte
June 5, 1965 – March 12, 2019
Beth Schlotte, 53, of Webster, died Tues., Mar. 12 at her residence.
Beth was born on June 5, 1965 in Webster, SD to James and Mary (Peterson) Gollnick. She was baptized and confirmed at Christ the King Catholic Church in Webster. She attended Webster Public School graduating in 1983. She was an avid lover of sports, especially volleyball and basketball in high school. She then enrolled at Presentation College in Aberdeen, SD.
After college Beth returned to Webster and married Marty Schlotte on June 16, 1990. She worked in Webster for multiple years both at Bethesda Nursing Home and as a book keeper for Jim's Electric.
Beth and Marty had two children Lacey and Corey. They were great supporters of their children in everything that they chose to do. Beth especially loved attending her children's activities and could always be heard cheering them on from the stands.
In the later years Beth enjoyed her new found love of sewing/quilting and especially loved making gifts for family and friends. She also loved her pet Trouble. She enjoyed all times spent with her children, especially those times spent around the bonfire and swimming. She was very excited to welcome her first grandchild Jaxon Marty and was a wonderful grandmother.
Grateful for having shared her life were her father Jim Gollnick and his wife Betty (stepmother) of Webster; two children Lacey (Jared) Moser of Morris, MN and Corey of Sioux Falls, SD; 1 grandchild Jaxon Moser of Morris, MN; two siblings Paulette (Todd) Maursetter of Hosmer, SD and Paul of Grenville, SD; several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband Marty, her mother Mary Gollnick, her grandparents Mason and Margaret Peterson and George and Genevieve (Jane) Gollnick.
