Barnabus "Barney" Gebur, 89, of Webster died Friday, July 27, 2012 at Bethesda Home, Webster.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 Tuesday, July 31, 2012 at Christ The King Church, Webster. Burial will be in St. Otto's Cemetery, Webster.

Visitation will be from 5 ~ 7 Monday at Christ The King Church with a Rosary Service at 7 at the church.

Visitation will resume again one hour prior to the services at the church.

Barnabus " Barney" Gebur was born February 4,1923 to Joe and Lena (Gollnick) Gebur, on the family farm near Butler South Dakota. He attended country school. Barney was a member of Christ The King Church & Catholic Order of Foresters.

On November 8, 1991 Barney married Alice Lesner in Webster, SD. Barney & Alice lived in Webster. Barney's favorite saying was "So Be It"

Barney was a lifelong farmer, enjoyed fishing, hunting, gardening and spending time with his family.

Grateful for having shared his life are his wife Alice of Webster, SD, two step-sons; Chuck Lesner Webster, SD, Hal (Marie) Rumpca of Pierre, SD, two step-daughters; Annette (Dennis) Bastolich of Cottage Grove, MN, Maria Stover of Victor, MT, and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Two brothers; Leo Gebur of Webster, SD; David and Ruby Gebur of Onyx, CA; and one sister Barbara (Gebur) Snaza of Los Angeles, CA. and numerous nieces and nephews.

Barney was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, two sisters, and one stepdaughter.
