Annick "Nikki" Wait, 82, of Waubay died Monday, March 17 at Sanford Hospital, Webster.

Annick was born in Paris, France where she met her husband and they got married on March 17, 1964.  They moved back to the U.S. where they lived in Colorado Springs, CO. at an Army Base until they finally resided in Watertown. After her children moved out, they moved to Waubay, SD, where she remained until she got ill and was put into Bethesda Nursing Home, in Webster After she was a stay at home mom, raising her four children.  After some time at the nursing home Annick got sick and ended up in the Webster hospital where she passed with her familly by her side.

Annick loved to go for walks with her grandchildren and her dogs.  She also loved listening to Elvis songs and movies and watching the Hallmark channel.

Grateful for having shared her life are her daughters; Veronique Wait of Webster, Muriel Wait of Watertown, Carole Wiekamp of Minot, ND and one son; Jerome of Watertown, 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.  She is also survived by her three sisters and one brother.

Her parents Gerard & Paulette Doreau and her husband Jerome preceded her in death.
